On to bigger and better things...I hope

The company for which Scott has worked for 6 years, Western Wireless Corporation (WWC), is no more. They have merged with Alltel to create a combined company more capable of being competitive in the growing wireless market. This merger became effective today, August 1st, approximately 11 years after the formation of WWC.

While there will be a number of WWC jobs eliminated, Scott will remain employed by Alltel for the foreseeable future. Scott and his coworkers will face a number of challenges as the two companies become integrated over the coming months. They will consider these challenges to be opportunities for growth and improvement.
